About the Hollesley Players
The Hollesley Players was formed as a village Amateur Dramatics group in 1979 and since then has grown to establish itself as one of the leading Companies in the local area - drawing its members and audiences from very much further afield.
We usually stage two productions each year – a play in the late spring mainly for adults, and a pantomime or 'special' shortly before Christmas, featuring music, singing and dance, and in which we especially like to include children and teenagers.
Join the Hollesley Players! We welcome new members and are always on the look out for enthusiasm and talent! If you're interested in joining us, either as a performer or part of our technical crew, please speak to anyone of the Group at one of our shows or call our Membership Secretary on 01728 688446.
Rehearsals are usually on Friday evenings, though extra ones may be scheduled closer to the production itself.
Children and Parental Consent The Hollesley Players particularly looks out for its younger members when they are involved in rehearsals and productions. When youngsters are in our care we ensure that they are safe, and that arrangements are in place for bringing them and for their collection. Read more about our child protection policy here.
